A modified, longer-lived analogue of insulin-like growth factor 1.
Long R3 IGF-1 is a 83-amino-acid analogue carrying an arginine substitution at position 3 and a 13-residue N-terminal extension. Those changes reduce its affinity for IGF-binding proteins, which is the reason the analogue exists at all. Note the 1 mg loading - an order of magnitude below most of the line.
Every unit ships as a sealed, pre-filled pen with a fixed click-stop increment. Nothing to reconstitute, nothing to draw up, and no bacteriostatic water to keep track of - the increment you set is the increment delivered, repeatably, across the life of the pen.
